Shopping for your brother in London
Good places to browse in London include Covent Garden, Marylebone High Street, Liberty and, on Sundays, the Columbia Road Flower Market.
The Tube and buses make a lunch-break shopping trip easy, and same-day delivery covers the centre, so a late gift is still possible.
Buying for your brother
A brother is often hard to buy for because he says he needs nothing. Use what you know: a hobby, a game you played as kids, a team he supports.
A joke gift with a real one underneath works well.
If you are shopping at the last minute
New Year gifts can be small and still feel considered. Spa vouchers and a personalized game arrive fast, and an oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment.
New Year is about what comes next, so tie the gift to a plan: a trip, a class, a habit you will start together.
A gift that does not depend on London
Shops in London cannot sell this one: a pixel game with him as the hero, two letters from you and a quiz about your shared memories. It is emailed, usually within an hour. The final level is set in Almaty today, with New York and Tokyo coming soon.
