Shopping for your fiancée in Almaty
In Almaty, gift shoppers head to the Green Bazaar, the pedestrian Zhibek Zholy street known as Arbat, Dostyk Plaza and the Mega Alma-Ata mall.
The metro is limited, so taxis and ride-hailing are the usual way to move between shopping areas, and florists deliver across the city.
Buying for your fiancée
Engaged couples are busy with plans, so a gift that gives her a break is welcome. A quiet evening, a keepsake or a surprise can mean more than a large item.
Add a note about what you are looking forward to.
If you are shopping at the last minute
New Year gifts can be small and still feel considered. Spa vouchers, gift cards and a personalized game arrive fast, and an oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment.
New Year is about what comes next, so tie the gift to a plan: a trip, a class, a habit you will start together.
A gift that does not depend on Almaty
Almaty is where every oin game ends: the final level is set in the city, so a game for someone in Almaty finishes on streets she knows. It arrives as a private link, usually within an hour, and plays in any browser.
