Tokyo to Sydney: the time difference

Sydney is about 1 hour ahead of Tokyo, so 8 pm in Sydney is roughly 7 pm in Tokyo. The gap shifts by an hour for part of the year when the clocks change.

The gap is small, so calling is easy: an evening call suits both of you.

What a parcel across the border costs you

A parcel from Tokyo to Sydney crosses a border, so allow one to three weeks and check customs rules for food, liquids and anything with a battery. A digital gift has none of that.

Buying for your partner

A partner knows you well, so effort is the thing they read first. Choose a gift that took thought, not just money.

Pair something useful with something sentimental.

If your anniversary is tomorrow

Gift cards, flowers and a personalized game can be arranged online the same day. An oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment. Pair one with a handwritten note and they still have something to open.

Anniversaries reward memory over price. Pick a detail from the first year, the first trip or the first fight, and build the gift around it.

Opening it together on a call

Send the link, agree a time that works in both cities and open the game on a video call. You can read the quiz questions aloud while they play, or share your screen and watch.

The final level you can play today is set in Almaty, Kazakhstan; a final level in New York or Tokyo is coming soon.
