Toronto to Sydney: the time difference

Sydney is about 15 hours ahead of Toronto, so 8 pm in Sydney is roughly 5 am in Toronto. The gap shifts by an hour for part of the year when the clocks change.

With so many hours between you, spontaneous calls are rare. Schedule the reveal for a weekend morning on one side and an evening on the other.

What a parcel across the border costs you

A parcel from Toronto to Sydney crosses a border, so allow one to three weeks and check customs rules for food, liquids and anything with a battery. A digital gift has none of that.

Buying for your partner

A partner knows you well, so effort is the thing they read first. Choose a gift that took thought, not just money.

Pair something useful with something sentimental.

If your anniversary is tomorrow

If the date crept up on you, Gift cards, flowers and a personalized game arrive fast and an oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment. Add a dinner booking and the evening is covered.

Traditional gift lists by year, paper, cotton, leather and so on, can give you a direction if you like rules. Break them if you have a better idea.

Opening it together on a call

Send the link, agree a time that works in both cities and open the game on a video call. You can read the quiz questions aloud while they play, or share your screen and watch.

The final level you can play today is set in Almaty, Kazakhstan; New York and Tokyo are coming soon.
