oin (oingift.com) turns your story into a personalized 2D pixel game you give as a gift. You upload an authorized photo, write two letters and five quiz questions, and pay once. The game is generated automatically and usually emailed within an hour as a private browser link plus a downloadable copy.
What oin is
oin is a short story game in a pixel art style, built around one person: the one you are giving it to. They are the main character, the letters inside are from you, and the quiz questions are about your relationship or your inside jokes. It is made for partners, long-distance couples, friends and family, and it needs no gaming experience to play.
Step 1: the main character
You upload a photo of the person the game is for, and the main character is generated from it in pixel style. Use a photo you are authorized to use - ideally one where their face is clear and well lit - and give the character a name.
Step 2: two letters
You write two personal letters. The first waits in the opening room, so it sets the tone as the game begins. The second closes the final level, so it is the last thing they read. Many people use the first for a memory and the second for what they have been meaning to say.
Step 3: a 5-question quiz
You write five questions with their answers: where you met, the nickname, the song, the dish they always order. The quiz is built into the levels, and every correct answer rewards flowers. It is the part most recipients talk about afterwards, because only they can pass it.
Step 4: two custom NPCs
Two custom non-player characters are included, each generated from an authorized photo. Friends, siblings, a parent or even the two of you as a couple can appear in the world. Every identifiable person in a photo must agree to being included.
Step 5: the final level
The final level is set in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a city of mountains, wide avenues and evening lights. New York and Tokyo final levels are coming soon and are not available to choose yet.
Step 6: payment and delivery
You see the price for your region before you pay. It costs $29.90 as a one-time payment with no subscription, on a secure checkout run by Polar, the Merchant of Record. After payment the game is generated automatically and emailed, usually within an hour, with a private game link that stays available for one year and a downloadable copy. If generation fails, the payment is refunded automatically.
What the recipient sees
They open a link. The game runs in an ordinary web browser on a phone or a computer: no install, no account, no gaming PC. There is nothing to ship and no customs, so it works for someone in another country just as well as for someone in the next room.

Is it safe to pay and are there refunds?
Yes. Payment runs on a secure Polar checkout, Polar is the Merchant of Record, and oin never sees your card details. All sales are final once delivery starts, but you get a full refund if the game cannot be generated or delivered, if you are charged twice, or if it is faulty and cannot be fixed: email oingift@gmail.com with your order number. Which final levels does oin have?
The final level available today is set in Almaty, Kazakhstan. New York and Tokyo final levels are coming soon and are not available yet.
