A personalized game gift for your sister for Christmas: a quiz built from your inside jokes

What the game looks like

The quiz is the part she will talk about afterwards. Each question is yours to write, so the only way to pass is to have been there.

Under the hood it is a short pixel game with levels, a quiz and a final level in Almaty, Kazakhstan. You supply the photo, the letters, the questions and, if you like, two NPCs; New York and Tokyo final levels are coming soon.

What to write in the two letters

Use the first letter to ease her in with a joke only the two of you get, and the second to say what that joke is really about.

Five quiz questions to start from

Mix easy questions with one that nobody else on earth could answer, and put that one last.

• Which song played in the car?
• What did you call me when I was small?
• What does Dad or Mom always say at dinner?
• Who always loses at the board game?
• Where was the first home I remember?

Why it suits your sister

A sister has the longest shared history in your life, so the game can be as silly as you like. Childhood nicknames and family legends make the best quiz questions.

Let the first letter tease and the second say how much you actually rely on her.

If you are shopping at the last minute

Gift cards, flowers and a personalized game can be arranged online the same day. An oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment, so it can wait until Christmas Eve. Pair one with a wrapped card and she still has something to open.

Christmas gifts need time, so order physical items by early December and keep a digital gift in reserve. Set a budget before you start browsing.

How to make it, step by step

• Upload an authorized photo of her; the main character is generated from it.
• Write the two letters: one opens the game, one closes the final level.
• Write five quiz questions with their answers; every correct answer gives flowers.
• Add up to two custom NPCs, friends or family, as long as everyone who appears agrees.
• Pay once, $29.90, with no subscription; the game is usually emailed within an hour.

Price, delivery and refunds

It costs $29.90 as a one-time payment, with regional pricing and no subscription. Payment runs on a secure Polar checkout and Polar is the Merchant of Record, so oin never sees your card. After payment the game is generated automatically and emailed, usually within an hour, as a private link that stays available for one year plus a downloadable copy. If generation fails, the payment is refunded automatically. All sales are final once delivery starts, but you get a full refund if the game cannot be generated or delivered, if you are charged twice or if it is faulty and cannot be fixed. See the refund policy.
